Notes of figurative language(2)

Idiom:
An expression that doesn't mean what it says and you can't figue it out; you just have to know.
Ex.: Theres a fork in the road.

Analogy:
Pointing out multiple parallels between two things.
Ex.: Men are like computers, if you had waited a weak later, you could have gotten a better one for a lower price. --I put down this because it's the only one I remember.
